- The exterior of the chapel is to be clad in manufactured stone. Pictures of a similar structure can be found on the cemetery website (ShilohCemeteryAssoc.com).
- The drawing does not specify a concrete pad beside the doors of the storage areas. We are adding the requirement of a 4’ by 6’ pad on each side so That the storage room can be accessed without stepping into the yard. They should have a slope to move water into the yard.
- The Shiloh Board will order the benches, installation should be quoted. The benches planned are expanded metal as seen in pictures of the reference chapel.
- The former vestibule pad has already been removed. It is noted “to be removed” in the large sketch.
- The pictures of the Catholic Cemetery structure show a wooden ceiling. We would like the quote to provide an option for wood and also for Hardie-Board.
- The Board will also order retractable curtains (as shown on the pictures in the website) and expect the curtain vendor to install them. Allowance should be made for mounting the curtain/blinds.
- There is no power to the site. We will provide an “off-grid battery bank” to power the lights and outlets in the wall. A connection from the bank to the wiring needs to be included.
- We are expecting multiple bids. We are not constrained to accept the lowest bid.
- Site Location – On the Home page of the website is a map link with the location of the cemetery.
