During the week of June 18th, work was begun to remove the church structure. Dale Shook removed the building, but was able to leave the concrete slab in excellent condition, This is fortunate, as using the existing concrete slab for the chapel will eliminate the cost to remove the slab and the cost to pour new footings and floor for the planned chapel.
Larry Gunnell captured pictures of the work in progress on the church removal and also on the repair and refurbishment of the flag pole. Larry’s grandson, Will Gunderman , helped in the sanding and painting of the pole.
